Adaptive Thresholding Algorithm

Nextimage comes with a B&W algorithm which combines background cleaning and preservation of grayscales in one mode. Usefull for cleaning up new originals and for low contrast blueprints.

The smoothen filter smartly removes pattern noise without blurring the edges in the original. Combine it with the sharpening algorithm to get razor-sharp results with smooth noiseless colours.

ICC Color Management

Nextimage supports ICC/ICM profiles. It can embed ICC profiles in scanned files, whether it is JPG, JPEG 2000 or TIFF, preserving colors when files are loaded into other applications.

Closed Loop Calibration (CLC)

Nextimage 7 Repro comes with built-in closed-loop calibration for managing colours when making copies. Create a media profile which is optimised for the particular media in the printer.

Note for existing Nextimage 5 and 6 users – Nextimage 7 requires the purchase of a new licence key – existing Nextimage 5 and 6 licence keys are not compatible with Nextimage 7 and cannot be used to activate or upgrade to Nextimage 7.

Please note – Nextimage 7 is only compatible with Windows 10/11 Operating Systems. Mac operating systems are currently not supported. Supported Windows Operating Systems are listed here. Please refer to the Nextimage datasheet for recommended computer specifications.
